### Episode 7: *The Tempest’s Fury*

*A story about courage, fear, and trusting the ones who never leave your side.*

The skies were dark that morning.

The clouds rolled in from the horizon like giant gray waves in the sky. The sea, usually calm and clear, began to stir with unease. A low rumble echoed from above — not a whale song, but thunder.

Sammy stared at the horizon, then at Luna. “We should head back,” he said gently.

But Luna’s eyes sparkled. “I’ve never seen a storm from the sea. What if it’s… beautiful?”

Sammy hesitated. “Storms are powerful. Unpredictable.”

Luna swam forward. “So are we.”

---

#### *Riding the Wind*

At first, it was just wind and rain. The water danced in circles, playful and wild. Luna twirled and dove, laughing. “It’s like the ocean is playing music!”

But the waves rose higher.

The light dimmed.

And the rhythm changed.

Sammy could feel the pull of the tide growing fierce. He called out, “Luna! Stay close!”

Suddenly, a wave lifted Luna high, then dropped her into a swirl of spinning current.

---

#### *Separation*

“Luna!” Sammy shouted, panic tightening his chest.

But she didn’t answer.

He dove deep, scanning the shadowy water. Rain pounded the surface above. The current pulled and twisted. It felt like the sea itself was testing him.

“Where are you?!” he cried.

Then — through the chaos — a song.

Not clear. Not full.

A trembling note. Luna’s voice.

She was scared.

And singing.

---

#### *The Return*

Sammy followed the song.

He fought the current, flippers burning, eyes locked on the dim light ahead. And then — through the churning sea — he saw her. Caught in a pocket of spinning water, too exhausted to swim free.

“I’ve got you,” he said, wrapping a flipper around hers.

Together, they kicked and twisted and broke through the swirl. The current released them. The sea calmed. The storm, still rumbling above, began to drift away.

They floated together, breathing, silent.

Then Luna whispered, “I thought I was strong enough on my own.”

“You are,” Sammy said. “But you don’t have to be alone.”

### *The Calm After the Fury*

That night, after the sea had softened and the sky turned silver again, Luna and Sammy floated side by side in silence.

The storm was gone.

But the memory of it lingered — like salt on their shells.

Luna looked up at the stars. “Do you think we’ll face another one someday?”

Sammy didn’t answer right away. Then he said, “Maybe. But next time… we’ll know how to hold on tighter.”

Luna nodded slowly. “And trust each other sooner.”

Sammy looked at her, really looked — and in that moment, something settled in his heart.

It wasn’t just relief.

It was *knowing.*

> He needed Luna.
> Not just for adventures.
> But for the quiet after.
> For the strength she gave him — even when she didn’t know it.

#### *The Lesson*

That night, the sea was calm again, reflecting the stars.

Luna leaned into Sammy’s side. “I didn’t want to admit I was scared.”

“Me too,” he said. “But being scared doesn’t make us weak.”

Luna nodded. “And storms don’t last forever.”

So, children, remember this:

> Life brings storms — loud, wild, unexpected.
> Sometimes we get swept up. Sometimes we feel lost.
> But the ones who care will come for you.
> Not because you're weak,
> But because **we are meant to hold each other up.**

Even the fiercest storms pass.

And when they do, **friendship is what remains**.
