As the **second-oldest club in Palm Coast**, they celebrated in style while combining **FFGC’s District VI Fall Meeting**—and it was a celebration everyone enjoyed. As the **second-oldest club in Palm Coast**, they celebrated in style while combining **FFGC’s District VI Fall Meeting**—and it was a celebration everyone enjoyed. The celebration kicked off at **Hammock Dunes Clubhouse**, where the entire staff welcomed members and guests with **friendly smiles and a genuine spirit of hospitality**, setting the perfect tone for a day filled with reflection, recognition, and joy. As registration continued through the first hour, **laughter filled the room** as members and esteemed guests arrived to greet one another. The event featured **local crafters, raffles, plant sales, and plenty of photo-worthy moments**—all enjoyed over **fresh coffee and pastries** that kept the morning lively and full of smiles. As the meeting officially came to order, a **beautiful voice from Faith Liebel** filled the clubhouse with the sound of our **National Anthem**, followed by **Lorraine Sullivan from the DeLeon Springs Garden Club**, who proudly led everyone in the **Pledge of Allegiance**—a moment that brought warmth, pride, and unity to the room. **FFGC District VI Officers, Chairs, and members** from across the region joined in to help Palm Coast celebrate this milestone occasion. Representatives came from **Cherry Laurel, Cocoa-Rockledge, DeLeon Springs, Garden Club By-the-Sea, Garden Club of DeLand, The Garden Club of the Halifax Country, Indian Harbour Beach, Melbourne, New Smyrna Beach, Ormond Beach, Port Malabar, South Peninsula, Tillandsia, Titusville,** and the **Council of Garden Clubs of the Halifax District.** The day was graciously **hosted by District Director Debra Griffith**, who led the program with **awards, announcements, and heartfelt recognition** of the many achievements and contributions made throughout the year. The **Garden Club at Palm Coast** and its members, with **President Denise Garcia leading the way**, proudly hosted the entire event with **pride, honor, and deep appreciation** for their achievements over the past 50 years. The **Hospitality Committee**, led by **Shara Brodsky, Second-Year Director**, added the **finishing touches** that made the day extra special—combining warmth, organization, and a true spirit of celebration. Every **Garden Club at Palm Coast member in attendance** offered an experience not to be forgotten. From **photographer George Castre Hanns Sr.** capturing each special moment, to the **Plant Sales team** and **Welcoming Committee**, every detail reflected the club’s dedication and heart. **Vice President Kennetha Killmurray, First Year Director Janet Howells, Membership Director Ellen Warner, Third Year Director Melondy Bosko, Nanci Iandoli Garden of The Month and Chair Janet Fonseca, Janet Roberts and Jane Villa-Lobbs all** brought their signature warmth and enthusiasm, ensuring that every guest felt included and appreciated throughout the event. **Special Local Community Guests** came out in support of The Garden Club at Palm Coast, making the celebration even more meaningful. Among those in attendance were **Flagler County Commissioner Pam Richardson**, **Gregg Hanson and wife, Linda Hanson**, and **Carol Mini, Urban Forester for the City of Palm Coast**—a past **scholarship recipient of The Garden Club at Palm Coast**. Their presence reflected the strong community connections built over 50 years of service and growth. As the celebration drew to a close, you could **feel the warmth radiating not only throughout the room but across FFGC’s District VI**. Garden clubs from near and far came together in shared pride, friendship, and admiration for all that has been accomplished over the past five decades.
