### New Board Appointments &amp; Leadership Updates

A primary focus of the June 27 meeting was the official appointment of two prominent local figures to the Board of Directors:

- **Caleb Hathaway:** A local Palm Coast author, historian, and researcher with a background in preserving Florida’s regional history.
- **Don Robertson:** Former President of the Gainesville Raceway, retired law enforcement officer, and former Chair of the Alachua County Tourist Development Council. Robertson brings decades of administrative leadership and tourism development experience to the Society.
