Description
Old Dixie Highway (1915 Brick Road) Is at Risk — Action Needed NOW
Flagler County is home to one of Florida’s longest remaining stretches of the original 1915 Dixie Highway — nearly 8 miles of historic Old Brick Road.
That history is now in danger.
Let’s be clear:
Posting opinions or venting online will not protect this road.
Only action will.
A critical decision point is happening now.
Attend the Workshop — Your Voice Matters
Monday, April 20 | 1:00 PM
Flagler County Commission Chambers
1769 E. Moody Blvd., Bunnell
This meeting will directly impact the future of Old Brick Road.
Flagler County is working toward an agreement with the City of Palm Coast to protect this historic corridor — but current proposals include multiple two-lane road crossings that could permanently alter and fragment its historic character.
What’s at Stake
- One of the last intact sections of the 1915 Dixie Highway
- A recognized historic and cultural asset
- The unique identity and character of Flagler County
Once it’s changed — it’s gone for good.
