Description

The Bunnell Library at Nexus, in partnership with the Flagler Humane Society, invites children ages 4–10 to participate in the heartwarming Paws to Read program. Held Wednesday from 4:00–5:00 p.m., this special literacy event gives kids the opportunity to read aloud to licensed therapy dogs in a calm, supportive environment.

Reading to therapy dogs helps children build confidence, improve fluency, and develop a love for books without pressure. Young readers practice their skills while friendly, trained dogs listen patiently — creating a positive and encouraging experience.

Families looking for educational and confidence-building activities in Flagler County will find this weekly program both fun and meaningful.
