Step back in time during A Day in Old Florida, the inaugural living history event hosted at the Florida Agricultural Legacy Learning Center. This immersive educational experience brings together the stories, skills, and diverse cultures that shaped early Florida history, spanning from Native American life in the 1400s through the legendary Florida cow hunters of the 1800s and the many vibrant communities in between.

School Day Educational Field Trip Details Friday October 16 2026 is dedicated as a special School Day field trip experience running from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for registered students and educators. Teachers can bring history to life in a hands on interactive environment across the scenic 460 acre property. Registered students who participate in Friday's School Day program are invited to return for Saturday's public festivities for free.

Living History Activities and Attractions Visitors and students will explore historic encampments, interact with knowledgeable historical interpreters, and watch live traditional skill demonstrations. Guests can also discover unique handcrafted goods at the Trading Post while enjoying wide open spaces and natural scenery.
