American Heart Association First Aid Class

Flagler County Emergency Management will offer an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid Class on Wednesday, December 9, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flagler County Emergency Operations Center in Bunnell.

The class teaches participants how to recognize common first-aid emergencies, call for help and respond using lifesaving first-aid skills.

Disaster volunteers may take the class at no charge without certification. Participants who want a two-year American Heart Association e-card certification may obtain one for $19.25, according to the county's current training schedule.

This is useful training well beyond disaster response. Palm Coast and Flagler County residents can use basic first-aid knowledge at home, work, community events or anywhere an unexpected injury or medical emergency occurs.

New residents, caregivers, community volunteers and anyone interested in improving their basic emergency skills may want to take advantage of the locally offered training.

Registration is handled through Flagler County Emergency Management's Community Training program.
