Fairgrounds Expo Hall Ribbon-Cutting in Bunnell

Flagler County will officially open the new Fairgrounds Expo Hall with a public ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 1:30 PM at the Flagler County Fairgrounds in Bunnell.

The new multipurpose facility was built to Category 5 hurricane standards and will increase Flagler County's emergency shelter capacity while also providing approximately 10,000 square feet of open space for community events and recreational activities.

The building includes a kitchen, restrooms, foyer and storage areas and is positioned north of Cattleman's Hall on the Fairgrounds property.

For longtime residents, the opening provides an opportunity to see a significant new piece of Flagler County's emergency-preparedness infrastructure. New residents and visitors can also learn how the Fairgrounds property serves both everyday community activities and emergency needs.
