For the fourth consecutive year, The Thrifty Place is excited to host its Annual Holiday Toy Giveaway, a heartwarming event funded by their generosity and the kindness of community toy donations.
Each year, this event grows bigger and brighter. In 2023, the Toy Giveaway brought joy to 200 children who might not have otherwise experienced the magic of a Christmas gift. This year, with the incredible support of Palm Coast Local, other local businesses, and dedicated volunteers, we aim to spread holiday cheer to 300 or more children ages 1 to 12.
"We feel that the season truly brings out the best in people. We are blessed to have generous community support," says Rusty, son and Operations Manager. "Every year since opening, we have done our best to make sure that any child who came to our store during the season got a toy to make their Christmas brighter."
Donating is simple and impactful. Purchase an unwrapped toy and place it under our Christmas tree, where children will have the opportunity to choose a gift they truly love. Your generosity helps ensure every child gets a toy that brings a smile to their face and warmth to their heart this holiday season.

Established in September 2016, The Thrifty Place was founded by Sandy Branagan, who brings over 20 years of experience in the thrift store business. Sandy is dedicated to making life's essentials accessible and affordable for everyone. With items like clothing and kitchenware priced as low as 50¢, The Thrifty Place ensures that even those facing financial challenges can find what they need.
A shining example of her commitment to the community is the store’s year-round food drive, which supports The Sheltering Tree, a program run by the First United Methodist Church of Bunnell. Additionally, through monthly sales, The Thrifty Place makes sure even luxury items remain within reach.
