Friends of Gamble Rogers State Park (FROGRS) was selected as one of 170 organizations to receive a 2024 Two For The Trails grant from Athletic Brewing Company. This global program, inspired by Athletic Co-Founder and CEO Bill Shufelt’s tradition of toasting trail adventures with two brews, contributes up to $2 million annually to the protection and restoration of outdoor spaces.
The $10,000 grant awarded to FROGRS will enhance their Intercoastal Waterway guided kayak tours and environmental education program. “This funding will allow us to expand our kayak fleet and safety equipment, provide training for more certified guides, and create detailed paddling trail map signage featuring photos of typically observed wildlife,” said Greg Wilson, FROGRS President. “We are thrilled to host more tours for youth, veterans, and community groups, while fostering conservation and appreciation for the park’s natural environment.”
Athletic Brewing Company’s Two For The Trails program has reached a significant milestone in 2024, donating $2 million in a single year to support diverse outdoor projects across the U.S., UK, and Canada. “This funding directly benefits the environment and communities where our customers live, work, and adventure,” said Cara Wilson, B Corp & Two For The Trails Manager at Athletic Brewing Company. “We’re committed to protecting and enhancing outdoor spaces to ensure safe, equitable access for generations to come.”
