A Successful Night Benefiting S.M.A.R.T. of Flagler County
On Thursday, October 2nd, the community came together at Palm Coast Lanes for an unforgettable Music Bingo Fundraiser benefiting S.M.A.R.T. (Saving Missing Animals Response Team) of Flagler County. Hosted by Loren Ashley of Pawfessional Pet Services working in conjunction with Mark Mistie who made the magic happen. "What an amazing and incredible night it was, the house was packed with 200 people through the evening, some even tailgating!" says Mistie.
“From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who made this night possible,” said Loren Ashley. “It was amazing to see so many people come together for such an important cause.”
Honoring Dedication and Teamwork
Caroline Johnson, founder of SMART, continues to inspire through her unwavering commitment to saving lost, abandoned, and abused animals throughout Flagler County. Her passion is the heart behind this mission, and this event was a reflection of that dedication.
Special appreciation goes out to DJ Mike Brown, whose energy and entertainment kept the room filled with laughter, music, and excitement all night long. His friendship and support helped make the evening one to remember.
Mark Mistie, Hector, and the entire Palm Coast Lanes team also played a major role in the evening’s success by providing outstanding hospitality, additional seating, and continuous support throughout the night.
Behind the scenes, Loren’s family — Jeremiah Hogan, Carter Laforest, Karie Orologio, and Lisa Markel — worked tirelessly to help organize and run the event. Their dedication and teamwork ensured everything went off without a hitch.
Community Support and Gratitude
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to all raffle donors and sponsors whose generosity brought excitement and helped raise crucial funds for SMART. Their contributions not only enhanced the event but will directly support animal rescue efforts in the community.
To all the friends, clients, and guests who came out to support — whether you played Music Bingo, purchased raffle tickets, or donated from afar — your kindness and encouragement made this event possible.
Because of your collective efforts, $3,000 was raised for SMART Animal Rescue. These funds will go directly toward providing care, shelter, and rescue operations for animals in need throughout Flagler County.
A Night to Remember
It was an evening filled with laughter, friendship, and community spirit — a shining example of what can happen when people unite for a shared purpose. Loren and the entire Pawfessional Pet Services team extend their deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make this night a success.
“I couldn’t have done it without the love and support of so many incredible people,” Loren said. “It truly was an amazing night.”
