Legacy By The Sea: Leaders in Education in Flagler Schools

Flagler Schools will host the 2025–2026 Teachers, Employees and Rookies of the Year Celebration on Monday, January 26, 2026, honoring the educators and staff members who are leading the way for the next generation of students.

This year’s theme, “Legacy By The Sea,” highlights excellence across the district as each school’s Teacher of the Year, Employee of the Year, and Rookie Teacher of the Year are recognized. The evening will also spotlight the district’s Principal of the Year and Assistant Principal of the Year.

District Leadership Honorees

  • Principal of the Year: Bobby Bossardet, Flagler Palm Coast High School

  • Assistant Principal of the Year: Abra Seay, Rymfire Elementary School

Both leaders were announced as winners in December.

Once announced during the ceremony, the District Teacher of the Year and District Employee of the Year will be submitted as Flagler Schools’ official representatives for the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) State Teacher and Employee of the Year awards.

In 2025, Indian Trails Middle School teacher Brandy Anderson was named a Top-Five finalist in the statewide Teacher of the Year competition.
